Richard played collegiate soccer at the University of Buffalo, Eckerd College where he was a team captain. After transferring from University at Buffalo, NY (NCAA D1) I was an immediate starter for the Tritons, in my junior year was awarded the role of captain of the team and then went onto pick up MVP for the final 2 years. I played a part in helping the team achieve their best season in 30 years and ultimately being ranked in the top 25 NCAA D2 programs in the country.
Enthusiastic and passionately driven coach who has a deep admiration for intercollegiate athletics and the development of young people on a holistic level both academically and athletically. Playing experience at both the collegiate and professional soccer level has cultivated a ruthless attention to detail with all aspects of my professional life. Mentoring and creating a sustainable culture are two aspects that I believe make a college soccer program successful.
